Dr. Alejandra Candia Balderas is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced training in ocular ultrasound, cataract surgery, and refractive surgery. She is committed to providing precise diagnoses, modern surgical care, and personalized attention to every patient.

Dr. Candia Balderas earned her medical degree from Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) and completed her Ophthalmology residency at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), one of the most prestigious training programs in the country.

She is certified by the Mexican Council of Ophthalmology.

She pursued advanced subspecialty training in Ocular Ultrasound and Ophthalmic Imaging at Fundación Conde de Valenciana (UNAM) and  completed a Fellowship in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Tecnológico de Monterrey / Centro Médico Puerta de Hierro.

Dr. Candia Balderas is an active member of leading national and international ophthalmology societies, including:

• Mexican Center of Ultrasound in Ophthalmology (CMUO)
• European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS)
